Do you have an activity ideas for getting kiddos to express emotion or instructional play to educate medical experiences?

It’s important to listen to children as they play and take note of the scenarios they come up with during play to be able to see what their point of view is on what’s going on. Depending on their age, interventions may vary from allowing them to manipulate and explore medical items, to reading books about being in the hospital, to practicing coping techniques, to using dolls as patients, or to simply talking about their experiences. There are many things to take into account depending on their specific situations but I would say to focus on observing their pov of the situation & taking it from there.
