Beads of Courage is a fantastic program that helps children suffering from cancer or other serious illnesses to tell their story! Each bead represents different things & memories such as: days in the hospital, blood draws, surgeries, friends you’ve loved & lost – any way to represent your feelings – it’s really amazing!!

I visited the Babe Ruth birthplace / museum today in Baltimore, MD & found this magnet! I did a little research on it & it turns out “proceeds from the sale of the magnets will benefit Camp Sunrise, a week-long camping program provided by the American Cancer Society-South Atlantic Division for approximately 100 children with cancer.” Find out more at: http://www.maroonpr.com/main.asp?page=1579
