Hi Diane, My name is Kate. I am a grad student in Dallas studying to become an LPC. However, I’ve recently become introduced to childlife and LOVE it. I’ve tried but there does not seem to be any way to tweak my degree to fit Child Life. I was wondering if you had any advice for me or if you know of any LPC(s) specifically play therapists that work in the hospital setting. Thanks! PS Your blog is amazing :)

Have you already completed an internship or are you currently looking? I would love to chat with you about your experiences! By the way, this is the same person from USF. :) If you’re up for chatting and have an email I could contact you at, that would be awesome.
absolutely! send me your e-mail as another question & I will contact you. 🙂More
I’m actually planning on becoming a CCLS, as well! I’m actually at USF and am trying to get into an internship for Fall 2012. Anyways, I really love you’re blog! You have a lot of great posts on medical play and whatnot. :)
That sounds great! Sounds as though we’re on the same path 🙂 — thanks for the feedback!More
